Modules
For greater flexibility, LIBPF is licensed in modules; in this way each customer can purchase only what is required.
There are three group of modules:
- Models and algorithms
- Interfaces
- Application-specific models
Basic LIBPF modules (models and algorithms):

LIBPF CORE: contains the calculation kernel and is the minimal set-up required to create a solution based on LIBPF. |
LIBPF DYNA: models for transient simulation |
Interface modules:

LIBPF UI: the open-source User Interface. |
LIBPF ODBC: for portable, distributed Database Connectivity. |

LIBPF OPC: for On-line Connectivity to the process control system using the Classic OPC interface |
LIBPF SQLITE: for lightweight Database Connectivity |
LIBPF OPCUA: for On-line Connectivity to the process control system using the OPC Unified Architecture interface |
