LIBPF WWW
Web server interface
The LIBPF WWW module provides a Web server interface for LIBPF.
With this module it is possible to access any LIBPF object (such as quantities, phases, streams, unit operations or entire flowsheets), and manipulate it (creation, browsing, calculation) form any web browser.
The basic controls and glue code are provided, and based on the customer requirements any number of web pages can be created, with customized interfaces.
The typical usage scenario for LIBPF WWW include:
- making models accessible over the intranet to other users than the process engineers, without requiring the installation of additional software;
- making models accessible over the extranet to suppliers of customers
- making models accessible in the field using mobile terminals such as smartphones, tablets, personal digital assistants (PDAs).
