Get LIBPF
LIBPF can be licensed for Academic use (free but restricted) or for Commercial use. Time-limited trial licenses are available on request.

Commercial license
The LIBPF commercial license is very flexible:
- The library is modular, therefore each module can be included only if required;
- The delivery form can be chosen from closed executable, internal use SDK (Software Development Kit), redistributable SDK, source code;
- The license can be purchased (perpetual license with one time fee) or leased (annual subscription-based).
The table lists the one time fees per seat or per server (for the modules LIBPF OPC, LIBPF OPCUA and LIBPF WWW) for a perpetual LIBPF library license, delivered as closed executable, inclusive support for the first year:

The listed prices do not include:
- VAT (Value Added Tax) if applicable;
- Support for the subsequent years after the first one;
- Training or consultancy services.
Trial license
Three-months trial licenses are available on request for all modules, closed executable delivery form only.
Academic License
Non-profit academic or state-founded institutions such as universities or research institutes qualify for the Academic License of LIBPF. The Academic License comes at no cost, but it has a few limitations:
- The only supported platform is Windows XP (whereby Commercial LIBPF runs on Linux, OSX, any Win32 operating system and Windows CE);
- The only available delivery form is: internal use SDK (Software Development Kit);
- The only available modules are: LIBPF CORE, LIBPF SQLITE and LIBPF UI;
- Executables compiled against the academic version of the LIBPF library need to be activated once on each computer where they run (internet connection required);
- Use is restricted to academic research and teaching;
- Any commercial use or within joint projects with industrial partners is not allowed; you should then contact sales and upgrade your licence to Commercial;
- Any scientific publication regarding research work based on LIBPF must cite LIBPF.
