The main
goal of the 17th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE17) is to emphasise the continuity and diversity of CAPE.
The systematic methods based on modelling and simulation, as well as
software implementation, are the fundamental tools adapted to the
particularities of the application domain and the problem at hand.
ESCAPE 17 wishes also to highlight the innovation in computer
technology and software architecture emerging from challenging new
engineering frontiers.
